Each year tens of thousands of music fans decend upon Austin, Texas for the annual SXSW Music Conference. This festival has become THE event for both new indie bands and venerable legends to come together and play to the masses. Over 1300 bands play over three days at a variety of venues along sixth street and other locations across Austin.
For the past three years, VTech has partnered with Esquire Magazine to host the highlight of the festival—the closing night pary at Stubb's. We've had a wide range of artists perform, from Kings of Leon to Paolo Nutini to Iggy Pop and the Stooges.
This year we are sponsoring several events during the conference:
- The Filter Magazine Cedar Street Showcase, running from 12–6 each day from March 13–15. This is a unique venue and one of the fan favorites during the week.

VTech Presents the Stones Throw/Duck Down hip-hop event at the Fader House, Wednesday the 12th from 9–1am.

VTech is the title sponsor of the PureVolume Ranch, running March 8–15 at 2nd and Trinity Street. Swing by from (2 p.m. to 4 a.m.) and check out the indoor and outdoor venue, which is always a highlight of the festival.
