It’s been a couple months since we’ve had a home phone and it has come in handy more than once. I’ve misplaced my iPhone so I was able to call it from the house phone, I didn’t want to run upstairs to grab my iPhone, or my iPhone was dead so I had the comfort in knowing I was still able to make and receive calls since I had a home phone. The Cordless Answering System with Caller ID/Call Waiting has worked great for my family, especially the base acting as it’s own speakerphone instead of just the handset – I love that feature.
