Loving a Home Phone

June 12, 2013

while holding a conversation through the base speaker, which acts as a second phone unit.

Since I’m a mom always on the go I appreciate the digital answering system that records up to 14 minutes of calls I might miss. The screen on both the handset and the base unit displays up to 50 calls. Handset displays the name, number, time and date of incoming calls.

Other features:
  • Expandable up to 5 handsets with only one phone jack
  • DECT 6.0 Digital technology
  • Call screening
  • Call intercept
  • Remote access
  • Message retrieval from handset
  • Message time and date stamp
  • 50 name and number phonebook directory
  • Intercom between handsets
  • Conference between an outside line and up to 2 cordless handsets
  • Voicemail Waiting Indicator
  • Trilingual prompts – choose between English, Spanish or French
  • Volume control
  • Mute
  • Any key answer
  • Wall-mount bracket (included)
  • Last 10 number redial

It’s been a couple months since we’ve had a home phone and it has come in handy more than once. I’ve misplaced my iPhone so I was able to call it from the house phone, I didn’t want to run upstairs to grab my iPhone, or my iPhone was dead so I had the comfort in knowing I was still able to make and receive calls since I had a home phone. The Cordless Answering System with Caller ID/Call Waiting has worked great for my family, especially the base acting as it’s own speakerphone instead of just the handset – I love that feature.
