VTech Cordless Answering System CS6529-16! It Is a RED Phone!

January 12, 2014

I was given a VTech Cordless Answering System Red Phone CS6529-16, to facilitate this review. Opinions expressed are that of my own.

I got to ring in the New Year in STYLE with a RED VTech Phone!

Over the holidays I was asked to review a VTech Cordless Answering System with Caller ID/Call Waiting CS6529-16 and when I saw the color of this phone I was like “NICE”. I love to add colorful accents throughout my home, and RED would go perfect with my current decor. Of course I was interested in its usefulness as well since we have been needing a new cordless system for a while.

This Digital Answering System has up to 14 minutes of recording time and is set up for Caller ID and Call Waiting. It has the speaker phone function, mute, and quiet mode to silence the ringer. It can also be expanded to up to 5 additional phones by adding the accessory handset kit (CS6509-16). The phone is backlit and is also equipped with ECO mode for battery power conservation.

The design of this phone is small and the base is compact. I like the ringer, the call sound quality is great, and the answering system functions the way it is supposed to. I love the color, and it now has a permanent spot in my kitchen.

When selecting a Cordless phone, do you look for function or style first? What room in your home would you put this?

I will admit that I am spoiled with my previous VTech phone and its display. The CS6529-16 Phone has to be held almost flat in the palm of my hand in order to see the digits, where my last phone could be held at pretty much any angle. That will take a little getting used to.

This Vtech Cordless Answering System Red Phone retails for $29.95 and can be found online and in stores at Target.
