We bought this baby monitor based on positive reviews but for our barn, which is 120 fet away, to avoid laying an audio cable for the CCTV cable we just bought (not wanting IP connections and just to monitor a goat pen). Very surprized at how clear the sound is and fine tuned as it seems to collect low sounds and present sudden louder ones all through effortless wireless - no set  up and instant sound of chewing hay. Talk option (one of the things we wanted rather than video as we do have a CCTV analog camera) works as advertized, can if needed talk with someone in barn. Or puzzle the goats.

Simple and easy to use. the only downside is the baby's monitor has to be plugged in to use which is hard when baby isn't sleeping near an outlet. But the monitor still picks up the noise even if it's a short distance away. The parent monitor does not need to be plugged in for use however you must remember to keep the battery charged. Not bad at all.

Simple for first time parents

I love this monitor, I bought this to monitor my elderly mother, It has great distance and sound, I can hear every little sound she makes. Our bedrooms are very far apart, I have it on my dresser, love the fact that I can talk back to her and she can hear me just as if we were on the phone. I highly recommend this monitor.

Easy to use, I use this devise to hear when my loved one needs assistance, allowing me to go outside to garden, without compromising his safety.  We really enjoy  this monitor!

Worked great! Used it when my Dad was on Hospice

Good for  the price. In our house there is no interference so the sound is fine.  
Annoying power-on message on the parent terminal can be disabled (see the  instruction). 
The device radiation strength is relatively high (I've seen people trying to measure it and get disappointed in the product) - instruction recommends to keep the baby terminal relatively far from the baby/body. I hope people read instructions and manual properly before use.
Can't comment on battery life - only used it in the yard few times. The battery easily lasted an hour.

Good value for the price

I bough this as a replacement for our 5 y/o Vtech monitors that had finally stopped working. My absolute favorite function on this monitor is the walkie talkie function. My five year old sleeps upstairs at the back of the house while we are downstairs in the front. It has no problem with connection or sound degradation and my child feels more comfortable that we can have a conversation if needed in the middle of the night. We've even taken it outside to the pool so we can hear our child if she needs us. This monitor is great and a must have for all parents.

Great Monitor

Needed this as our grandson was here for a week.  Worked perfectly.  Battery was excellent as one night I forgot to plug the receiver in and 8 hours later the battery never wore down.  Great Price for peace of mind.  Very simple operation. Definitely  would recommend this product.

I love this monitor. I bought a cheaper one and replaced it with this one. These have better range and clarity than the other one and the battery life is so much better.

Perfect for any Nursery

Bought this monitor in July and in February we started having the same issues others have spoke of. The parent monitor is not working, eventhough it is charged and linked. It will not hold a charge for long and there is no sound if it is plugged in. I looked into the warranty and unit must be sent in and can take 30 days to be replaced or fixed.

Disappointed!
